July 25 Tech Salon London – RSVP Now

In August, the Department for International Development (DFID) will publish a new evidence paper exploring the relationship between education technology,  teaching and learning  in low and lower-middle income countries. Based on a review of over 80 studies, this paper aims to inform governments, NGOs, donors, the private sector and schools about how to use technology in schools by learning from the evidence.

At the next Technology Salon, we’ll discuss this research and how we can use it to improve the use of technology in education. Our conversation will be lead by Rosalind Gator, Education Policy Team, DFID, and we’ll seek answers to questions like:

• What are the key insights and takeaways on ICT in Education?
• How can we use research for more effective programme design and evaluation?
• Where are there partnerships that can align commercial and development incentives?
• When can we use this and similar research as an advocacy tool?
• What are the gaps in the research? Who will fill these?

We’ll have hot coffee and a light breakfast. Seating is limited, so be sure to RSVP quickly to be confirmed for attendance. Once we reach our 30-person capacity there will be a waiting list.
