FHI 360 is working with The Rockefeller Foundation, in association with the Global Resilience Partnership, to identify potential digital technology innovations that may have a positive impact on resilience outcomes in Asia.
We’re interested in the whole range of digital technologies, from mobile-based communications, to sensor technologies, gaming, big data applications, and beyond. Basically, if it uses any form of digital technology, we’re interested.
Please complete this brief form if your innovation is already or has the potential to help with:
- Preparedness – it supports people’s ability to better prepare for shocks and stresses (e.g. early warning systems)
- Recurring event response – it enables people to more effectively respond to recurring events (e.g. seasonal flooding, income instability)
- Catastrophic event response – it enables people to more effectively respond to recurring events (e.g. earthquakes, pandemics, financial crises)
We will be compiling submissions into an inventory of innovations that we will publish and share with the wider development community as a quick and easy reference.
Outstanding innovations may also be invited to participate at a two-day public convening on innovation and resilience to be held in Bangkok, Thailand later this year. In addition, up to five innovations may also receive targeted technical (and potentially financial) support to scale their innovations.
