Get a Job! Info-Activism Programme Coordinator at Tactical Technology Collective

Tactical Tech is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong background in working with grassroots rights-based organisations to use information and digital technologies in their campaigning work.

Tactical Tech is currently expanding its work under the Info-Activism programme and we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic coordinator to help us further develop our activities in this area. Over the coming year we will be building on the success of 10 Tactics for turning information into action, an educational documentary film that shows how rights advocates are using digital technologies worldwide for social change, continuing to distribute our 'in-a-box' series of toolkits and guides and supporting our growing informal network of info-activists worldwide.

The successful candidate will have a proven interest in using digital technologies for advocacy, have excellent communications and networking skills, and show dedication to expanding our outreach to grassroots groups.

This is a growth area for Tactical Tech; while this post is initially for a six month period, we anticipate this will extend to a more permanent position for the successful candidate.

Role Summary

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing support to all the Tactical Tech info-activism projects including coordinating and planning events, writing for our online productions, maintaining the toolkits and guides, coordinating with our informal network, and building partnerships and relationships.
